The group welcomes boys and girls in one of 3 groups depending upon age.

Group meetings are held on Monday evenings inline with the school calendar. There are also opportunities to take part in extra activities during school holidays and at weekends throughout the year. See the Event Diary for more information about upcoming meetings and activities.
Children who are currently under the respective ages can be placed on our waiting list and will be contacted by a leader when a place becomes available. If your child is already of suitable age and a space exists, they will normally be able to attend their first meeting within a couple of weeks, so don't wait to contact us.
* Note: Scouts usually run from age 10½, but can be enrolled anytime after their 10th birthday by agreement with the respective leader, depending on numbers within and entering the Cub and Scout groups and if beneficial due to term times.

5th Douglas are proud to offer all members a chance to develop individually and as a team with their peers through a wide range of activities and challenges. As members grow and move up through the group they are encouraged to display initiative and take responsibility for themselves and their friends.
